I did nothing today. Not even make the bed. I did shower, and epilady 1/2 a leg. I cooked a delightfull Indian lunch (dal makhani, paneer in curry sauce, samosas and sauteed beet greens) as well as a surprisingly good dinner (over-stuffed vegetarian peppers.) Why is it snowing again? I'm so tired of having to shovel and wear boots. It's the wrong kind of snow, too, dry and flaky. You still have to shovel, but it's useless as far as snowballs and snowmen. Doob is sick, poor guy. This is only the second time he's actually felt bad enough to have it affect his behavior. He woke up early this morning, crying and completely congested. Ginny just smiled at the bear rattler hanging from her swing, reached out deliberately for it, and gave it a shake. Then she crowed with delight and stuck her fingers in her mouth.

I love having a baby. Geneva is so cuddly, so sweet with all her little baby noises and baby expressions. I love how she clomps onto the num num, and then her eyes just slowly close as she's munching away. Having Dan around has resulted in a whole new Doob. He's still sleeping in our room on his mattress (even Dan couldn't convince him to sleep in his own bed once he got a taste of being so near) but the tantrums have completely 100% stopped.
